1SixthbyOC, founded in 2008, began as a passion for collecting 1/6th scale figures. However, my love for games traces back to childhood, where my father introduced my sisters and me to classics like backgammon, chess, and gin rummy. This early start ignited a lifelong appreciation for board games.

The founder’s passion for gaming was reignited during their time at Atari in the late 1970s, where they had exclusive access to Atari’s video gaming room. There, they encountered iconic games like Magic: The Gathering, Risk, and World of Warcraft, further fueling a lifelong appreciation for immersive and strategic gameplay.

From that moment, their path as a dedicated gaming enthusiast was set, and the journey continues. Today, 1SixthbyOC proudly exhibits at major conventions, including WonderCon, Comic-Con International San Diego, San Jose Toy Show, Fan Expo San Francisco, ToyExpo Silicon Valley, Ohana Anime, SacCon, SacAnime, StocktonCon, and many more.
